3 tips to the perfect proposal

I’ve been so lucky to be apart of some amazing proposal’s over the years, and with that I’ve learned a few things that are helpful when it comes to asking your forever person to marry you!!

I know how nerve-racking it can be, planning out the perfect proposal, keeping it a secret and of course … awaiting the long anticipated YES! When it comes to making your proposal run smoothly and be successful, here are a few things to consider!!

  1. Plan Ahead!!

Laying out your idea, location, props or photographer (to catch the wonderful moment, of course) are key to lowering your stress when it comes to the big proposal. If you know everything it set to help make your proposal as seamless as possible, than you are one step closer to a stress free proposal!!

2. Be sincere

Amongst the pre-proposal jitters and nerves, don’t forget to be sincere when popping the question. This is your moment to tell your partner how you feel, how much they mean to you and why you want to spend the rest of your life alongside them. Take your time with this and relish in the moment. This is the start for your future together, so make it memorable!

3. Consider a personal touch

Consider sprinkling some personal or creative details throughout your proposal. Holding your proposal in a special place or surrounded by loved ones are such wonderful things to consider when proposing!!! If there is a song that speaks to you as a couple, maybe consider having it playing in the background! The possibilities are endless, but I know you’ll consider something that speaks to you both and your relationship together.

3 tips to the perfect proposal

Now, go and plan that perfect proposal for your special person … I just know they are going to say YES!!!
