This last year has been full of so many unexpected This last year has been full of so many unexpected challenges that it feels like we've had to learn to love dancing in the downpour. It's been chaotic, frustrating, limiting but also has taught us to be grateful for the little things in life again.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To be allowed to simply meet up with a friend or go to someone else's house used to be the norm, lately we all feel like we've been grounded and told to stay in our rooms. Looking back on the simpler moments brings a whole new sense of respect for everything we used to take for granted.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What's the biggest thing you miss with all the restrictions right now?
The hours that have gone into creating this mini-d The hours that have gone into creating this mini-documentary has been huge but oh my goodness am I ever excited to share the full video with everyone on January 14th. Liam @fyamediahouse has out done himself and I love everything about his work!
.
It’s an insight into life as I know and live it. The balance of work and parenting and everything that goes into wedding photogrpahy
    It's my BIRTHDAY!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some days I feel soooo darn old and the rest of the time I still feel like I'm living my 20's just with a lot more responsibilities and can't recover from a night of drinking quite the same anymore.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm now officially closer to 40 than I am 30 and that's a bit of a shock to the system to be honest! Atleast my twin brothers in it with me and he's always going to be 10 minutes older bahaha!
Yikes, here’s to my last sleep being closer to 3 Yikes, here’s to my last sleep being closer to 30 than I am closer to 40. Does that technically make me almost middle aged or is that not until I hit 40?😳
The crushing reality that a cold will put such fea The crushing reality that a cold will put such fear into our children...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My little girl was sick last week and I had to take her to get tested. We'd hoped that we could get the spit test but due to food/water intake within the last hour we couldn't (would have been nice if a doctor had told us that that was important). We were there and we needed to get the test complete to know that she was ok but also so she could get back to school⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had to hold her down while they swabbed her nose and it was traumatizing!!! My poor girl was so upset and I just about started crying with her.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She came back negative and is feeling totally fine but it was an emotional roller coaster of a week and her behaviour was all over the map and I was worried! It wasn't until later last week when my husband told me that she had asked him at one point if she was ever going to get better and I was CRUSHED!!! I hate that my 6 year old had such fear over a simple freaking cold!!!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Has anyone else had to get their kids tested/swabbed?
