Vancouver Ocean Front Bridal session, BC

June 23, 2021
Engagement  ·  Featured  ·  Photography

These two have such an epic love story, true love goals right here!

It really was love at first sight. They both made eye contact from across the room and could not get enough of each other for the rest of the night at a wedding years ago. There may have been a few drinks involved when she turned to a girlfriend and said “he’s so hot, I’m gonna marry him”

haha little did she know that she truly would marry him a few years later in an intimate ceremony in the lower mainland. It was going to be a large wedding but thanks to covid, plans were changed but their love and desire to be married didn’t get effected.

It’s officially their one year anniversary today and we got together last month and captured their bridal and anniversary photos and it was what stories are written about.

The ocean breeze blowing in their hair, hot summer rocks beneath their feet, lovin on each other and having and incredible evening celebrating each other.

Not every champagne pop goes to plan… and that’s okay 😅

This groom gave it everything—but when the bottle didn’t spray, he improvised (by throwing it out of the bottle lol and honestly, I’m not mad about it. It was hilarious!

Want the spray and the sparkle on your wedding day?

Here’s your 3-step champagne pop guide for wedding-day magic:
1	Chill your bottle beforehand (this builds pressure for a good spray).
2	Loosen the cage and hold the bottle at a 45° angle, away from faces.
3	Once the cork pops, quickly place your thumb over the opening and give it a gentle shake—just like a garden hose. Instant celebration!

Whether it’s picture-perfect or pure chaos, these are the moments you’ll be laughing about for years.
There’s something so timeless about a woman in h There’s something so timeless about a woman in her wedding gown—before the music plays, before the guests arrive, before the day officially begins.

It’s that quiet space where emotions stir, anticipation builds, and the beauty of this chapter really sinks in.

This bridal session was all of that and more—soft light, still air, and the reminder that being fully present in your day is what makes it unforgettable.

Don’t rush these moments. Let’s give you the space to take it all in, and remember how it felt.

Your anniversary doesn’t have to be a grand gest Your anniversary doesn’t have to be a grand gesture to mean something big.

Here are 3 timeless ways to celebrate your story:

💌 Revisit your vows – Read them out loud. Remind each other of the promises made and how you’ve grown into them.

📸 Book a session, just the two of you – Capture who you are now—not just who you were on your wedding day. Every chapter deserves to be seen.

🥂 Do something that feels like you – Whether it’s coffee in your backyard, a hike to your favorite lookout, or dinner at the spot you first met… choose simplicity and intention over pressure and performance.

Marriage isn’t about one day—it’s about the days after.
So celebrate how far you’ve come, and the love that continues to grow.

The little details? They’re not so little. Whet The little details? They’re not so little.

Whether it’s your grandmother’s earrings, the perfume you saved just for this day, or the ribbon wrapped around your bouquet—these pieces hold stories. They’re the quiet moments that ground you and bring your wedding day full circle.

If you’re in the thick of planning, here’s your reminder: take time to gather the items that feel like you. Not for the sake of the photos (though yes, I’ll absolutely capture them)—but because these tiny pieces will one day bring you right back to how it all felt.

What’s one meaningful item you’re including in your day?
