Family Session | Dajana and Carter
You know those moments when you realize how small the world is? That’s exactly what happened when shooting Dajana and Carter!
I’ve known her sister in law for yeaarrs! Dajana booked a session with me and shortly after I turned up to photograph her mom’s 70th birthday party and ran into Dajana there! At that time I realized that they had booked me for a mother and son session and would soon be shooting them too.
I always love seeing the progression of a family as they grow over the years, its amazing being apart of capturing each family’s journey. I did Dajana’s in studio family session back in May, when she was pregnant with her baby girl. Now it’s crazy to think that baby sister is over 12 weeks old!
We originally booked this session in December of 2021 and rescheduled a few times and finally, this fall we were able to carry it out. It was such a fun, cute and playful session!! I quickly learned that Dajana is terrified of bugs!! There were grasshoppers and flies everywhere over the field, but her son Carter was such a little hero and helped me clear the way so the bugs would clear out!
In the end, I had an amazing day with this mother and son, capturing memories they will cherish forever and look back on year’s down the road.
