Engagement Session With Dylan + Hayley
Imagine, you have your man wrapped around you keeping you warm when you feel those raindrops on your face. You’re surrounded by the sound of the rain pouring and the wind within you … you’re both completely lost in the moment together.
That’s exactly what this shoot was like with Hayley and Dylan! This day was amazing, one of my favourites actually. The wind and the rain was like nothing else, but we didn’t let that stop us from getting some amazing shots. These were some really powerful moments, surrounded by the elements and we wanted to soak it all in to get some unique engagement photos!
These two love birds met through mutual friends at a Halloween party (how fun!!). After attending a Canucks game on their first date, they quickly became inseparable!!
I looove this engagement story. As two people who grew up going to Osoyoos all the time as kids, Dylan felt it would be perfect to pop the question at their special spot. Once they started dating, their families often would go with them each year on a summer trip, so of course they had to be watching everything go down from afar! Dylan surprised Hayley at sunset, where he led her to a sign that said “will you marry me” … surrounded by candles and their family to congratulate them! I can only imagine how amazing this moment must have been for them. With the ones they love, starting their new chapter together.
