Tia + Travis | A Sunset Wedding

January 21, 2023
Photography  ·  Wedding

Can you believe these two started out as roommates before they fell madly in love!?

Travis worked closely with Tia’s stepdad and when it came up that he needed a place to stay … right when Tia needed a roommate – her stepdad was there to help out ha! They quickly bonded over motorcycle rides and after six year’s together, Travis proposed! What I love about this story is that right before Travis proposed, he pulled over on “Husband Rd” (how fitting!!!) and got down on one knee. I must say, witty move Travis!!

Seeing as riding motorbikes was such a big part of their story and proposal, it only made sense to include this aspect into their wedding shoot. So, we did exactly that to make their wedding photos personal to them and the things they do during their quality time together. Their gorgeous wedding was held at their friends property in White Rock. The sun was shining bright for them on their wedding day, so we held off on shooting portraits until the evening and I am so glad that we did. The sunset was soo beautiful and it gave us the perfect light to capture portraits in the end!
