IT FEELS LIKE SPRING!!! We all love spring but tel IT FEELS LIKE SPRING!!! We all love spring but tell me I'm not the only one feeling a little bummed that I now have to shave my legs regularly and even though I can now break out the short shorts, my pasty white legs won't be hidden under my lulus for much longer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Seriously, theres definitely some pros and cons to warm weather, am I right?
I normally love Thursday... It’s the day before I normally love Thursday...
It’s the day before Friday and you know you only have one more day until the weekend. Though I love Thursdays more when you’re “off” on Friday and escaping for a long weekend!
.
Bring on the weekend!
These two "get married today"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These two "get married today"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They've been the ultimate "covid bride and groom" and its a little crushing to share their struggles with wanting to get married and celebrate with the ones they love.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They were originally scheduled to get married April 25th last year and were forced to reschedule due to isolation for the country. They rescheduled until October, like many of us we were hoping this was a temporary thing. They surprised everyone and did an intimate elopement with their closest friends and continued the hope of a lovely reception with their friends and family.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here we are today, after two reschedules and one ceremony later and today they still aren't able to be surrounded by their friends and family. They're done with reschedule and just want to celebrate what they have and the future they refuse to put on hold any longer and we are venturing to some beautiful locations later today and capturing something magical together.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After all the s**t they've been through, can we all please cross our fingers that the rain can at-least hold off until this evening so that there can be a little forgiveness for these two?
I've been in a silent struggle for years and it's I've been in a silent struggle for years and it's been crushing every time I get tests run and things come back 'normal'⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It all started with a severe case of the travellers flu when we went to Mexico 3 years ago and my stomach pains have progressively gotten worse to the point that it's landed me in the hospital multiple times. Every-time I saw a typical Dr, they'd run blood tests and tell me I was fine. They'd give me a prescription and a restricted diet to try. I did this multiple times over the years and every time it would temporarily get a bit better and then come back worse. I've been on a wait list with a specialist for years (still no appt) and I've gone from being in love with my fitness and always confidently been able to say I was fit an healthy at a Dr's appt, to saying 'I think so' or 'I used to be' if you disregard my stomach issues.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After the countless blood tests coming back as nothing, and being told I was a mystery and sent home with morphine for the pain, the crushing reality at the time that my constant pain, and swelling was to be my new norm. I asked Dr's to have specific gut testing ran and it was always brushed off, not once did my Dr just tell me that since it's not covered under MSP we don't run those tests. It seems that all they could do was write a prescription and send me on my way.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After my last stint in the hospital and realizing that the only way I'm going to be able to properly heal was to spend a fortune on a Naturopath and proper testing, I did.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I got my results back yesterday and not only do I have SIBO but Disbiosis too (imbalance of harmful/bad bacteria of both the small and large intestines) and that no amount of antacid prescriptions, morphine or blood work would have picked this up/healed it. The only way to truly treat it is with weeks, possibly months of strong antibiotics and natural remedies. -More in comments)
Help me decide... Sean Connery, Kevin Costner or p Help me decide... Sean Connery, Kevin Costner or pierce brosman?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m Kicking back with a movie tonight and these guys are staring in my top movie choices... which would you choose?
