For couples who want to share this experience just the two of them or with their immediate people. A mountaintop, a lake, a courthouse, a city anywhere in the world. All the emotion, none of the audience, and I’ll happily be your witness.
Why elope?

An elopement takes away the pressure, the obligations, the guest list and the expense of a big wedding, and leaves a day that is truly about the two of you.
A big wedding can quickly become about who you invite and a mix of your wants and their opinions. An elopement brings the meaning of a wedding back into focus and allows the two of you ability to get lost in your vows together, without the pressure or a hundred eyes on you.
It doesn’t have to be just you, your partner and a witness, either. Bring your parents and your besties if you like. There are no rules: it just means planning a day around the two of you, with far fewer guests.
I know the pull both ways. Our own destination wedding in Mexico was the best decision we made, and there still wasn’t enough time to spend with everyone. With fewer people, it would have been a lot more relaxing.

Planning an elopement, step by step.
An elopement takes less planning than a wedding, but not none. I’ll help with every part that’s new to you, from where to go to when to be there.

We connect
We start with a simple chat. Tell me about the two of you and what you’re dreaming of, whether that’s a mountaintop or the courthouse steps, in this country or in another.

We find your place
Timeline and location planning are included. A mountaintop, a lakeshore, a forest, a beach or a city far away: we’ll find the spot that feels like you, and the right time of day to be there.

We plan the details
Professional guides and questionnaires, recommendations for vendors, and as many conversations as you need. Travelling? Custom destination packages are built around the trip.

On the day, I guide you when you need it and step back for the real moments. All the emotion while skipping the audience. Happy to be your witness also, just say the word.

Every edited image arrives in an online gallery with printing rights, ready to download, print and share.

Plan your elopementWether you have 2 or 30 people there for your elopement, thats perfectly ok. We find the most incredible location for you and plan something that truly resonates with you.
Anywhere that feels like you. So far that’s meant a mountaintop reached by helicopter, a Fraser Valley waterfall, the shores of Alouette Lake, the Sunshine Coast, the Oregon coast and London. Location planning is included, so we’ll find your spot together.
Happily. If it’s just the two of you, I’ll gladly bring my hubby and be your witnesses.
We go anyway, if you’re up for it. Kevin and Sara spent their afternoon splashing through puddles in the pouring rain, and Chelsea and Travis braved the rain at a waterfall rushing with glacial run-off. Both were beautiful days, rain and all.
Always. I’m based in Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley and travel all over BC, from the Sunshine Coast and Tofino to the Okanagan and the Rockies, and overseas. I’ve never said no to a travel session, and destination packages are built around the trip.
Not at all, I promise. We’ll work through your elopement experience together right from the day we commit until you and your partner do. We can also plan an engagement session to work through some of those nerves.
A signed agreement and a 25% retainer hold your date, and payment plans are set up for ease. Then we start planning something incredible.
Then have a look at the wedding collections: six, eight or ten hours, from $3,400, and some collections include an engagement session. Not sure which fits? Ask me, and we can figure it out together.
