On the Fraser River at Sunset in Chilliwack, BC
September 19, 2020 With  0 Comment

I used to try keeping my children in control during family photo sessions but after many failed attempts in the early years I’ve learnt that’s not real life (and so not worth the stress).

We will run, play and laugh together. They will likely leave with dirt on their clothes and promises for a treat when you leave and THAT’S OK. (I’m pretty sure the key to parenting in bribery anyway) so why not get the best gallery possible while having a fun time together after too?

These moments we capture are going to be real, raw and true to what life as a family is like. I want everyone to arrive at your photo session stress free and know that we will just roll with whatever happens and make the most of it all. The giggles and the shy snuggles can make some of the most timeless photos that will decorate your walls for years!

It's been chaotic, frustrating, limiting but also has taught us to be grateful for the little things in life again.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To be allowed to simply meet up with a friend or go to someone else's house used to be the norm, lately we all feel like we've been grounded and told to stay in our rooms. Looking back on the simpler moments brings a whole new sense of respect for everything we used to take for granted.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What's the biggest thing you miss with all the restrictions right now?
