The most epic sunset elopement

September 15, 2020
Featured  ·  Photography  ·  Wedding

I’ve got chiiiilllllls!!!!

Two years ago, I would have been sitting in my old office plugging away from 9-5. Today I have chills looking through moments that make me feel emotional with being able to capture.

To meet such amazing people who I now get to call friends, to telling a story using a form of art that I LOOOOVE and being able to share my passion through my work is beyond words.

I put together this styled editorial of an intimate elopement earlier this summer and it is the epitome of everything that I strive to create on a wedding day. A team of incredible vendors collaborated with me to create this vision out on the west coast and it was everything I ever hoped it would be.

We explored the shores of the Pacfic North West in West Vancouver and captured the most incredible sunset. The location is breathtaking and would make such an perfect location for anyone looking to elope on the coast in BC.

These two madly in love beauties made the entire evening so emotional, fun, passionate and EPIC!!! They’ve been married for 8 years (both of them had to refer to facebook to get the timeframe correct bahaha they both thought it was 6). They have such an incredible bond and I sincerely can not wait to get to spend more time with them!!!

Watch the video for some sneak peeks and scroll below for stills.

If you’d ever like to be a part of a styled shoot or model call, I randomly need couples for promo or mentor sessions so email me anytime if you’d like to be added to the list.

Thank you to all the contributing vendors on this styled shoot.

Let's freeze this moment in time, together

This is what growing up together looks like — ch This is what growing up together looks like — choosing each other since they were 15 years old, learning each other, and building a life side by side.
Not many people get to say they met their person so young… but these two really did.
Sometimes you book a portrait session because you’ve grown — and you want to honour that version of yourself.
The stronger you.
The softer you.
The you who’s been through a lot and still shows up with a full heart.
These photos become a reminder of who you’ve become… and who you’re still becoming.
Golden hour really is as magical as it looks — s Golden hour really is as magical as it looks — soft light, quiet air, and the two of you soaking it all in.
This is where time seems to pause and it’s just you, your person, and that glow that makes everything feel unreal.
