My biggest goal is to capture your day as it unfolds in the most natural and candid way possible.
Your wedding day will be full of moments that you experience first hand but also filled with small moments you may not even realize are happening.
While you’re exchanging vows with your partner, your mom is crying tears of joy, your partners dad will be comforting your mother-in-law and your closest friends with be laughing along with you when someone cracks a joke. These are the small, in between moments that will shape your day and the experience you take away from this. These are the moments I live for.
Your gallery won’y just be pretty photos (though I can promise you, there will be plenty of those) it will be a time capsule of the entire wedding experience for everyone who shared in this day with you.

A day with Kate
Eight hours, roughly.
No two days run the same, so we’ll build yours together. This is what an eight-hour day often looks like, with a 4pm ceremony.

1:00 pm
Getting ready
I arrive while hair and makeup are finishing. Details first: the dress, the rings, the letters. Then the quiet moments, like the last button being done up.

2:30 pm
First look
Optional, and worth considering. A private minute together before the day gets loud, with your couple portraits done while you’re both fresh.

3:15 pm
Wedding party
Thirty to forty-five minutes with your people. A little direction from me, mostly laughing from you.

Ceremony
I’m a fly on the wall. The walk, the vows, the rings, and the faces in the third row.

Family, then cocktails
We work straight through the must-have list you sent me, so you’re with your guests within the half hour.

Golden hour, then the party
Twenty minutes, just the two of you, in the best light of the day. Then the first dance, the speeches, and the part where everyone forgets I’m there. Coverage wraps at nine.

Just the two of you? Elopements start from $1,600.

Check my dateNot even a little. Most of my couples tell me the same thing. We’ll talk lots between now and your wedding day that we’ll already know each other, we’ll have worked out your nerves at your engagement session, that by your wedding date, it will feel natural. I guide you when you need it and step back for the real moments.
Is everything an answer? From the getting-ready details to the last song, and a few thousand things in between: the tears in your eyes, your mom doing up your dress, the decor you spent hours choosing, the laugh lines around your dad’s eyes during the speeches. The big moments too, from your venue to your first dance.
While I’m not a wedding planner, I’ll be there for you through it all, with detailed guides and tailored questionnaires, help building a timeline with room to breathe, a list of the family photos that matter, and unlimited messages from our first chat until after your gallery is delivered.

Always. I’m based in Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley and travel all over BC, from the Sunshine Coast and Tofino to the Okanagan and the Rockies, and overseas. I’ve never said no to a travel wedding, and destination packages are built around the trip.
Weddings arrive in eight to twelve weeks, in an online gallery you can download and print from. Expedite options are available if you need them sooner.
A signed agreement and a 25% retainer hold your date, and payment plans are set up for ease. Then we start planning something incredible.
Then an elopement might be your thing. Just the two of you, or your closest people, on a mountaintop, a lakeshore or a city far away. Elopements start from $1,600.
